Congratulations to all of the band students on an outstanding start of the year! With the talent that has walked through the band room doors it is sure to be an exciting and music-filled year! Here are a few updates:


Sub and Burrito packets have been sent home. We ask that all students return his/her packet so that we can make sure all orders have been turned in. All band students are asked to help on food assembly day-Oct 19th beginning at 7:30 a.m. Parents/Guardians, please consider volunteering for one of the shifts listed on the Volunteer Sign Up form. If you need additional copies, please pick it up in the Band Room.


5th Grade Band: If you haven’t ordered supplies and books please do so ASAP. The two books are Traditions of Excellence and Scale and Rhythm Chunks. You can find the supply list HERE


Per school policy: Any student who does not ride the band bus for any reason, MUST fill out, and turn in to Mr. Ruckman the Transportation Permission Form. Without this form, students will be required to ride the band bus. Emails, texts, phone calls, notes, or talking to us in person will not be accepted.

All band students and parents are expected to read the Band Handbook and return the Parent and Student Acknowledgement Form. Please do not use the signature page from the Handbook PDF.
